The process of becoming a member of the ECREA’s Science and Environment Communication Section requires a number of steps :
1st step: Becoming an ECREA member
In order to allow as many scholars as possible to join, ECREA is offering a very flexible and affordable membership fee structure for individuals and institutions, with reduced fees for young scholars and for soft-currency countries.

2nd step: Expressing your interest
After registration as an ECREA member, there’s a possibility of joining our section from your personal page at ECREA’s intranet. Go to EDIT PROFILE and tick next to the “S: Science and Environment Communication” box. You’ll then be identified as a member by the chair, and receive general information and invitations to seminars or conferences via the ECREA Newsletter and the section’s special announcements.
3rd step (optional): Join the conversation
Our section also operates a google-group mailing list, which unlike the ECREA Newsletter allows every member to send messages and engage in conversation with other members. This group’s purpose is to disseminate information, share ideas and discuss issues of common concern related to science and environment communication. 4th step (optional): Create your profile on this site
After you’ve entered your details, the admin team will activate your account. Once you receive our confirmation email, you can log in to this page and change the information you want on your profile.
